Pharmaceutical Facility Modernization
This project completed by Lanthier Construction for Pfizer Canada involved the full replacement of the HVAC system in Building 12, as well as the addition of a new cold storage room at its Saint-Laurent facility. The mandate included comprehensive modifications to the mechanical systems, testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB), drainage system interventions, and building automation and controls work.
Executed in phases during evenings and weekends, the work took place in highly sensitive areas, including controlled production environments, explosion-proof zones, and confined spaces. The complexity of the project required meticulous planning, close coordination among all stakeholders, and the implementation of specialized training programs and temporary installations to ensure worker safety and operational continuity.
