Heritage Building Restoration in Montréal
Groupe TVA entrusted Lanthier Construction with the complete restoration of the building envelope at 1425 Alexandre-De Sève Street in Montréal. This landmark building, known as the Arcadia Theatre, was constructed in 1911 and represents an important part of Montréal's architectural heritage. Its distinctive façade is composed of glazed white terracotta adorned with floral motifs, requiring a meticulous restoration approach to preserve its historic character.
Through a rigorous project management approach, the mandate included the refurbishment of building envelope components, the restoration of deteriorated architectural elements, and the implementation of corrective measures to ensure the building's long-term durability. The work was carried out with full respect for the building's heritage features, with particular attention given to preserving original materials and ensuring the seamless integration of all interventions.
