Transformation of Fondaction’s Head Office
The transformation of Fondaction’s head office involved the complete renovation of an existing building to create a modern, high-performance, and sustainable work environment. Delivered under a tight schedule, this mandate required rigorous project management and close coordination among all stakeholders.
As general contractor, Lanthier Construction delivered a turnkey project encompassing extensive layout work affecting the building structure, envelope, and mechanical and electrical systems. The interventions included the installation of an architectural staircase and an elevator, the construction of a canopy, as well as the layout of a rooftop terrace. A complete refurbishment of the building envelope was also carried out to improve durability and energy performance.
The mandate also included major civil works such as underpinning, drainage, and exterior utility connections. Through a value engineering approach, the work was optimized to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with the client’s requirements.
