Modernization of Place Victoria's Common Areas
The mandate carried out at Place Victoria involved the refurbishment and modernization of several key common areas within a highly active corporate and commercial building. Completed by Lanthier Construction, this interior layout project required rigorous project management and phased planning to maintain operations and ensure continuous occupant access throughout the work.
The intervention included the replacement of three main vestibules, the refurbishment of the lobby, the extension of the existing architectural staircase, and the complete refurbishment of the escalators. The work also included the refurbishment of outdoor terraces and the layout of upgraded washrooms to modernize facilities and enhance the user experience.
Carried out mainly during evenings and nights, the work required temporary installations and close coordination of interventions, particularly in areas containing asbestos. Through a value engineering approach and optimized construction sequencing, the project was efficiently executed within a highly occupied environment.
