Project Manager
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Negotiate and award subcontracts.
- Review and analyze plans, specifications, addenda, and other bid documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and various stakeholders.
- Develop schedules and execution timelines.
- Manage and coordinate site personnel and project logistics.
- Maintain and monitor budgets as well as change orders.
- Establish and maintain necessary communications with subcontractors, consultants and the client.
- Conduct site visits to ensure proper progress of work.
- Lead site meetings with the various stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
- Follow up and correct deficiencies.
- Supervise the preparation of project closeout manuals with the administrative assistant.
Requirements:
- Professional Engineer or Bachelor’s in Construction Engineering or DEC in Construction Technology or equivalent.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position.
- Microsoft Office, MS Project, (knowledge of PlanGrid/Built is an asset).
- Strong communication skills, ability to lead, work in a team, and solve problems.
- Bilingual (English/French).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
