Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the execution of work in accordance with established plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Plan, supervise, and organize the work of skilled workers and subcontractors.
- Develop weekly schedules and monitor crew attendance on site.
- Assign daily tasks based on operational priorities.
- Ensure the training, supervision, and engagement of workers on site.
- Make sure that labor, tools, and materials are available in a timely manner.
- Strictly enforce health and safety regulations as well as quality standards.
- Respond effectively to unforeseen events or technical issues.
- Provide recommendations to optimize productivity, work methods, and timelines.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, materials, and health & safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
- Basic knowledge of electromechanical systems (an asset).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate site teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Autonomy, rigor, and strong sense of priorities.
- High school diploma or training in a skilled trade (carpentry, joinery, etc.).
