Project manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Negotiate and award subcontracts
  • Review plans, specifications, addenda, and other bid documents
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and various stakeholders
  • Develop project schedules and execution timelines
  • Manage and coordinate site personnel and project logistics
  • Monitor and control budgets and change notices
  • Maintain ongoing communication with subcontractors, consultants, and clients
  • Conduct site visits to ensure proper project execution
  • Lead site meetings with various stakeholders
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes
  • Follow up on and correct deficiencies
  • Oversee the preparation of project close-out manuals with the administrative assistant

Requirements:

  • Professional Engineer or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, or DEC in Construction Technology, or equivalent
  • 5–7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, PlanGrid/Build (an asset)
  • Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, teamwork mindset, and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
