Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Negotiate and award subcontracts
- Review plans, specifications, addenda, and other bid documents
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and various stakeholders
- Develop project schedules and execution timelines
- Manage and coordinate site personnel and project logistics
- Monitor and control budgets and change notices
- Maintain ongoing communication with subcontractors, consultants, and clients
- Conduct site visits to ensure proper project execution
- Lead site meetings with various stakeholders
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes
- Follow up on and correct deficiencies
- Oversee the preparation of project close-out manuals with the administrative assistant
Requirements:
- Professional Engineer or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, or DEC in Construction Technology, or equivalent
- 5–7 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, PlanGrid/Build (an asset)
- Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, teamwork mindset, and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
